AC Milan director Zlatan Ibrahimovic took to social media to congratulate Lecce striker Francesco Camarda, who is on loan from the Rossoneri, after the 17-year-old scored his first Serie A goal. Ibrahimovic shared an old conversation in which Camarda thanked him for joining Milan and called him his idol. Reflecting on Camarda’s achievement, Ibrahimovic stated that with this goal, everyone will now know who he is.
Camarda's first Serie A goal
Camarda became Serie A’s youngest ever player when he made his debut for Milan at 15 years, eight months and 23 days old during the 2023-24 season. Loaned to Lecce in the summer of 2025 for experience, he scored his first senior Serie A goal on Sunday. With Lecce trailing Bologna 2-1, Camarda headed in a corner in the penultimate minute to level the score, rescuing Eusebio Di Francesco’s side from another defeat.

Ibrahimovic shared a screenshot of a message Camarda had sent him in 2019, just before Ibrahimovic joined Milan. The message read: "I am an Italian and a big fan of AC Milan. Thank you for coming to Milan. I would like to know you and you are my hero."
Camarda then introduces himself, saying, "My name is Francesco Camarda and I play for Milan."
Ibrahimovic added in the caption of his post on Monday: "Now everybody knows your name, not only me."
