Leeds United might well be active in the January transfer window as they look for a replacement for Samuel Saiz, who is joining Getafe.
And many of the Championship club’s fans feel that Alaves attacker Ibai Gomez could now be heading to Elland Road as Saiz’s replacement.
AS recently linked Gomez with a move to Elland Road.
And the Leeds fans have been active on social media commenting on the attacker’s potential switch to England.
Gomez has scored three times in 15 league appearances for Alaves this season, but his contract with the Spanish club will expire next June.
The 29-year-old made over 140 appearances for Athletic Bilbao before joining Alaves in 2016, and it would be some coup for Leeds if they managed to sign him.
